DiGi 3G pre launch a total failure?

As some of you know, DiGi has made a pre launch promo at Ikano on 21st and 22nd Feb to test their new 3G network. To top off this launch they had made two promo packages which is:

and

digi3g_laptop_package.jpg

Too sad there is no data sim only package as this promo is only for noobs who didn’t have a laptop and a USB modem. From what I’ve heard there is only 60 people who grabs the laptop packages. Guess the promo package isn’t attractive at all huh DiGi?

With a 10GB limit, limited coverage, tied with a contract, and pricy plans I can say Digi really let me down on this. As EDGE user I’ve hope something more on this. Another thing is, they should consider to reduce current EDGE plan to RM33! :-p

We should give them some time and see what DiGi could offer us when they fully launch their 3G network. After all its still early to continue bashing. LOL :d

So called motto by DiGi, ‘Broadband Done Right’. Yeah rite. . .

How to remove JambanMu, Brontok, Windx-Maxtrox and other popular Indonesian/Asian viruses

There’s plenty of good antivirus out there such as Kaspersky, Bitdefender and Norton. It’s no doubt they clean the viruses well. But there’s one thing you should know, anti virus company resolve virus problems by receiving feedback from users. From my point of view, asian users tend to be less supportive at submiting their feedback when they were infected by a virus.

That makes users in Asian region were prone to virus infection easily I can say. Mostly, the vicious viruses came from Indonesia. You must heard of Brontok or JambanMu virus if you are actively used your pendrive on public computers. It’s open to an argument whether popular antivirus already had the definition files to clean all such viruses. This is for popular virus, how about hundreds of them that yet still to be discover? Hence I suggest you install an antivirus that came from where the virus belongs. It’s a freeware and made by Indonesians. They know exactly what they were doing. Well knowns to protect your computers from asian viruses.
