It’s kinda late to wrote something about new year isn’t it? Well its never too late for anything to me. I just want to keep this blog updated with latest happenings in my life. Last week I just got back from 1 month holiday and began my second semester in UTM. Class schedule is quite pack though but here’s the interesting part, I got one day off on Wednesday (Movie Day!) Drools. 
Well what’s new with Izzatz.com for this 2008? I can’t say much, I’ll just continue blogging what I’ve in mind. 
To kick off the 2008 and to encourage me to blog more often I’ve bought a new laptop. Yeah, that’s a good reason to imply to your parents when you wanted a new laptop, rite? Hahaha. No, the real reason I’ve bought it because I demand the mobility as I’m living in a hostel and I’ll travel a lot. Weekends I’ll go to my brother house in Shah Alam and if I’m in a long break I’ll go back to Penang. That sums it all that I really need a computer wherever I go.
I’ve my eyes on Dell Vostro for quite some time before I finally laid my hands on it. Dell Vostro is packed with cool features for frequent traveler like myself. Lightweight and compact design. It also offered spill proof! Cool lah :hehe:
Here’s my laptop spec:
Vostro: 1400
Processor: Core 2 Duo T7250 2.0 Gghz
Memory: 2GB
Graphic card: NVIDIA 128mb 8400GS
LCD: 14.1′ WXGA
Storage: 120GB + 8X DVDRW
OS: Windows Vista Home Basic
I’ve churn out RM3k for that spec. But it’s worth it. On top of that, I’ve ordered it during Christmas promotion and I got free Belkin bag and a 2GB Trek thumbdrive. So far I’m satisfied with the new laptop.
What good is it a computer without an internet connection rite? So I’ve subscribed to Celcom Broadband. I’ve chose the D68 packages, RM68 monthly. Speed is cap at 384kbps. It’s enough to cater my surfing needs as I needed it badly in term of mobility.
For my surfing pleasure I’ve bought a USB modem rather than using a cellphone to keep connected. It’s a Sierra Wireless Aircard 875U from AT&T. This modem is better than Huawei modem. Check out the 875U features by clicking the picture below.
