This is definitely a good news for those who are still on a slow connections. People were complaining that Facebook main page is too big to load due to the quiz results and other heavy apps. For me I don’t want to see other junk besides my friends updates and I’ve been keen on a lite version of Facebook. Currently I’m using a firefox add on plus some nifty greasemonkey script to have a clean facebook page.
Finally they open it to public, but it still in beta stage. It’s been said its open to certain country to test out the new layout.
You can access it at Facebook Lite. I’ve managed to surf for few minutes untill it bloated with errors then I’ve to switch back to original pages. Guess it still need lot of users feedback before it fully launch.
The page has been compressed to 70%. That’s my rough calculation. I would love to see the final version soon!
Well, practically there is no way to hack it until now. But you could enjoy some system glitch and take advantage of the current situations. How are we supposed to know that? By joining this group.
