Terabyte Hard Drives Are Here!

The new revolution of hard drive storage is here. Finally, Hitachi has produced 1TB hard drive; Hitachi’s 7K1000. This is a significant stage in hard drive industry to achieve such achievement. :-)

This new hard drive shipped with number of innovations. For a Serial ATA II, this is the first on its own kind with 32MB of cache memory and it is Hitachi’s first 3.5″ drive to implement perpendicular magnetic recording technology (PMR).

Prices for ‘.com’ and ‘.net’ to rise

NEW YORK – The master-keeper of Internet addresses ending in “.com” and “.net” — two of the most popular domain name suffixes — said Thursday it would raise fees charged to register those names.

The annual levy for “.com” will increase 7 percent to $6.42, and the “.net” fee will go up 10 percent to $3.85. The per-name fees are what VeriSign Inc. collects from companies that sell domain names on its behalf, and such charges are generally incorporated in the prices companies, groups and individuals pay to register names.

Yahoo Mail Announces Unlimited Storage

Yahoo is announcing that all Yahoo Mail users will have free unlimited email storage starting in May 2007. The current storage limit is 1 GB per account (2 GB for $20/year premium users). With this change, Yahoo leapfrogs Gmail (2.8 GB and growing) and Live.com Mail (2GB). Yahoo mail currently has 250 million global users, more than any other online service (Live.com has 228 million and Gmail has 51 million users).

Both is successful making a name and proudly gain their respect from all over the world. Kevin Rose, I’ve known him since 5 years ago. Through ‘Call For Help’ and ‘Screensaver’. Both is a tv program and a top tech show commentator by him. He get involved with this industry since he was young, and with his achievement till now it’s certified to be honoured.
