HSBB Pricing is out – Called ‘Unifi’

The most anticipating broadband news for this year, Malaysia finally got their hands on fiber optic internet connection. While the coverage is still limited to Klang Valley in the early launch all the hype of HSBB really had brought Malaysian some attention that broadband is actually been considered as a necessity.

ps: Tips for a broadband company, how about lowering down your monthly commitment? That’s how you will get new users and at the same time make current customers happy too. It’s a win-win situation. :-)

Yes, we are left far away behind compare with our neighbours. It’s because Malaysia Telecom which is of course government subsidiary company, is monopolized the broadband scene! We need a new player to make it more competitive. Malaysia Boleh! Tmnet Boleh Blah!

Earthquakes Interrupts Telecommunications Across Asia


It’s been five days since the earthquake in Taiwan (27 December 2006). Internet connection literally still slow as they still trying to recover the damaged. While I’m sitting in front of my computer doing nothing. All my works is obstructed. They estimate it will come back to normal around 3 weeks. Its been a week and my life is miserable. :-p

We wish to inform our customers that the Internet service is currently experiencing a degradation in performance caused by several outages at some of the international links.

This is attributed to the Richter 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck off the southern coast of Taiwan at 12.07 a.m. on 27th December 2006, which caused the APCN2 (Asia Pacific Cable Network 2) submarine cable fault between Shantou, China and Tanshui, Taiwan and between Lantau, Hong Kong and Chongming, China.
