Use Cryptographp to avoid nasty spam

After I activated the Top Commentators plugin, it rise in me that I should enhance my comment features more.

So I’ve been started using this cool plugin, Cryptographp this past few days and the result is amazing. Basically this plugin will generate random captchas so that automatic spam bots couldn’t have a chance to spam your blog. It works, by successfully stop 150+ spam daily through my blog. I can immediately turn off the spam filter by Akismet.

Some blog owner might say if you put up a captchas you might make your readers lose interest to leave a comment in your blog. C’mon, if it is a true reader and he/she have something worth to say it wouldn’t be a problem spending few seconds to type the few characters. Aite?

First time I installed it, the image of the captchas is kind of blurry and hard to read, so I’ve changed it to easy view. Yes, you can change the image. Choose what best for your blog.

If you interested download Cryptographp now and customize it.

Well I just put up top commentator plugin. As you can see it on my sidebar. This is nonetheless to encourage readers to comment on this blog and rewards the top commentator with backlinks thus increasing their Technorati ranking.

For your information, I also has removed the custom no follow tag on my comment form 2 months ago. Maybe some of you have noticed the backlinks that came from it. So your links will not be left over for the upcoming search engine crawl. It’ll be counted as normal backlink.

I hope there will be no abuse of this advantages. Use it wisely. Any comments that I think isn’t appropriate will be deleted right away.

As a loyal K2 user, I’ll try all sort of thing trying to stick with this nice theme before having a thought trying to convert to a new theme. Unlike other user, they will find a new good theme for their blog when they facing dead end.

The situation occurs to me. I neither can’t edit or add my sidebar items on admin panel. I can’t do anything with it. The sidebar modules page is blank and freeze.
