ZTE MF627 Windows 7 Driver

Just borrow my friends modem after my sierra wireless 875u battery kaput already. It’s a usb modem, ZTE MF627. It has nice touch with compact size. Really like the modem design.

But sadly the driver pre installed with the modem is not supported by Windows 7. Luckily with a quick search, I found the latest update for the driver. Just thought it would be a good idea to share.

I’m thinking maybe after this I’ll try and compile all the modem update list. That should come in handy for everyone right. Oh if only I got the time

Hi, Izzat,

I thought this could resolve my problem. However, zte wcdma technologies MSM driver is not found while I was trying to install the given driver/installer. That’s the only missing driver.

Would you know any link that can give me this zte wcdma technologies MSM driver? I got so tired looking for it in the internet. I hope you also have this driver

hello vhong,

have you tried installing the driver from the modem itself? then you can install this updated driver. it should resolve your problem.

you using windows 7 i supposed? as this driver only meant for windows 7 users

I didn’t see any Zte link here, how ever i still can use my old telstra broadband by download Zte broadband provide by Umobile from my friend. it’s work in window 7.
